2024年6月2日、ローラ・カーズは2030年までFormula Eに参戦すると発表した。
ローラは東京Eプリの週末に2025年からGEN3 EVOで行われるFormula Eへの参戦を発表しました。今回の契約は、それを2030年まで延長したことになります。
GEN4規定はシーズン13(2026/27)に導入される予定で、マシンパワーは現在の350kwから600kwに増加します。
日産、ポルシェ、ジャガーに続き、参入を発表したローラですが、この発表にヤマハは含まれていません。GEN3 EVOのパワートレインをローラと共同開発しているヤマハの去就に注目が集まっています。

“With their historic return to top-tier motorsport for Season 11 next year, we’re delighted that Lola Cars will also be committing to the GEN4 era – promising their presence will be on the Formula E grid until at least 2030.
